Welcome to The Edge
where people come together to do great things
We(Brixham YES) have taken over the lease on this old church building. We moved from our old premises as we’d outgrown the space and needed to expand to support Brixham's young people.
Here, at The Edge, YES will continue to provide help and guidance to young people in a safe, welcoming environment. We are developing our facilities here to:
- offer a free, daily drop-in for young people (Monday to Friday)
- assist community clubs, societies and action groups
- identify and nurture young entrepreneurs
- establish intergenerational micro-enterprises
- provide workshop space for wood working, metal work and art processes
- encourage participation in a range of projects
- welcome the community!
We can offer a home to local groups who would like to share space here at The Edge, offering studio spaces, meeting/rehearsal rooms and we have a vibrant community cafe.
Our intuition is that people are more likely to do great things - to innovate, to make things better for ourselves and our community - if we have the scope for creativity and the ability to make things happen locally. To this end, we now have The Edge!
